CF Ceilings
Before & After
About
Since being established in 1990, the company has expanded considerably, achieving an annual turnover approaching £3M and gaining an enviable reputation for service and quality. We have a dedicated workforce of approx 80 fully qualified tradesmen, specialising in suspended ceilings, partitioning, taping & Jointing, fire protection and insulation. We also have a team of around 18 plasterers/tapers. We believe in continually improving the skills of all operatives, providing a comprehensive programme of internal and external training backed up by C.I.T.B. and A.I.S. site appraisals, through which we have achieved Investor In People status.
CF Ceilings Ltd is able to guarantee that works will be completed to specification and on schedule. As a result of this commitment, we have had the pleasure of working throughout the UK , on projects both large and small. We have recently completed a £700K project in collaboration with Watkin Jones Ltd of Bangor , carrying out works on new student accommodation blocks in Bradford and Preston . The Preston project was completed four weeks ahead of schedule, setting a new record for Watkin Jones Ltd and prompting them to award CF Ceilings Ltd two more prestigious projects in 2006. We are also carrying out works on the Laura Ashley, New Look and River Island roll-out programmes across the UK , for Timbertec International & Europa Shopfitting. We have also completed works for other contractors on Marks & Spencer stores, TK Maxx, JJB Sports, JD Wetherspoons, Tesco Superstores and several NHS projects to name a few.
In the last two years the continued growth of C.F. Ceilings has meant that we have had to expand on all fronts ,including expansion of our premises. This has included the building of a new warehouse and trade counter with offices above. This now allows us to hold more material stock in house. We have also introduced a fully operational service area for the C.F .Ceilings fleet vehicles, and employ two fully qualified mechanics.
C.F. Ceilings can now offer an extensive waste management and recycling service to our contractors and the general public. comprising of two skip lorries and more than thirty skips being available.. In an increasingly waste conscious environment, C.F. Ceilings is now in the enviable position to offer recycling and disposal of all our own waste from any project that may require us to do so.

Management Of Work Packages
C. F. Ceilings place a lot of emphasis on the importance of pre start meetings not only with the main contractor but also other sub contractors with whom we will be working alongside. The majority of projects undertaken require all sub contractors to work closely together to ensure programs and deadlines are met. We also appreciate the need for acceleration of some projects. Regular site visits by our site foreman serves to back up our operatives and to see any possible future problems.
We ensure continuity of material supply by pre sourcing and pricing by a wide range of suppliers. This ensures materials will be delivered as and when we require them. Continuity of labour is assured by the fact that we have over forty permanent operatives who are multi skilled, flexible and long serving.
Quality Control
Quality control is the main stay of our business. Any material defects that may occur will be rectified by our suppliers through C.F. Ceilings. Any snagging or pre paint works will be assessed on site by C.F. Ceilings and or any other contractors that may be responsible.
Continuous checks and communication between contractors will help to keep any remedial works to minimum.
Any out of sequence works or repairs to damages caused by other contractors, will be carried out by C.F. Ceilings under written site instruction.
